– Travel time from Sidemen, Padang Bai Tejakula and Karangasem to the basecamp – approximately 1 to 1.5 hours
19.00 – 21.00 PM*: Our transportation team will picking you up with private car from your accommodation. Please make sure to bring things to bring before to ensure you are going to be ready for the hike. Note: We are not able to stop by at some places as the hours to drive and starting trekking time is critically important to make sure we get the sunrise at the true summit.
22.00 PM: Welcome to the basecamp of Mount Agung! This is our most favorite and best hiking trail to get to the summit. Here our mountain host/guide will open up a short briefing to ensure you understand the circumstances and rules before the hike. In our believes (Hindunese) Mt. Agung is home of gods and mother of all the mountains in Bali, Indonesia. Trekking poles and headlamp will be handed to you as well.
22.30 PM – 03.30 AM : There are 3 resting point (or we Indonesian used to called it Pos) with full dense of rainforest and long tree roots covered almost the whole trail – until we reached POS 4 which are camping area nestled above 2.800 meters of sea level. Our team will shortly prepare simple snack and hot beverages such as local Balinese coffee and Jasmine tea.
04.00 – 06.00 AM: From here we will continue our hiking journey; The Summit Attack for about 2 hours. Intense rocky trails until a very short before the true summit of sandy trails. A spectacular and epic views which will added to your very core memories with amazing sunrise welcoming you here! We will celebrate it with witness the active caldera of Mount Agung itself.
08.30-0.900 AM: Heading down and arrived at POS 4 and our mountain team will provide an amazing authentic Indonesian breakfast with hot beverages. As the sun is coming up we will give you time to truly immerse the amazing views of the rainforest, ocean, mountain and cities of East of Bali.
12.00 – 13.00 PM: We are arrived back at the basecamp and get yourself cleaned up before our transportation team bring you back to your accommodation!
15.00 – 16.00 PM: Arrival in your accommodation.
