Authentic Munduk Agriculture and Hidden Waterfalls Trekking

Munduk is a beautiful mountain area north of Bali. Not only is it famous for its hidden waterfalls, ancient and protected jungle, there are many agricultural farms managed by local farmers for hundreds of years. Explore by trekking through beautiful local farms (rice terrace, coffee, tropical fruits, cloves, etc) nestled in between the mountains and jungle. The Balinese traditionally developed their own methods of farming such as the subak system which evenly distributed water among rice fields in the village. During this trip we will finish the trek by visiting Red Coral and Melanting waterfalls with around 4-5 hours long day trekking with our local professional host. Enjoy and learn about the diversity of the tropical ecosystem in the jungle, let your soul be part of the freshwater falls and it is worth it to swim!

8 AM – Pick up from your hotel
10 AM – Arrived at our starting point for the trekking. We will have a short briefing with our local professional host.
11 AM – Meet with local farmers, visit some of the most beautiful rice terraces with small river alleys and tropical fruits. We also will let you try some of the fresh fruits.
12 AM – Lunch break at local house and warung. Coffee and tea served.
13 AM – Arrived trekking at our first waterfalls of Melanting. Beautiful cascade valley in the middle of the jungle. Great for natural showers, relax and swim.
00 PM – Trekking through the tropical jungle. We will walk past a hundred year old Banyan (Ficus Tree) and a small river alley, coffee plantation and remote village. Last opportunity to enjoy the fresh waterfalls and swimming.
30 PM – Finish the trek and head back to your hotel.
