Ancient Tamblingan Jungle Trekking and Waterfalls
The Getaway Camp Bali proudly presents a full day trip to explore the beaten path of Tamblingan Conservative Area and Banyu WanaWaterfalls in Munduk, Bali. Home for untouched wildlife, protected ecosystem, pristine lake and ancient Banyan tree; Tamblingan is an amazing nature to explore.
We will start from picking you up in the morning and have breakfast at Wanagiri Hills. It’s a beautiful landscape spot and we will serve you some warm food and coffe + tea. and continue to drive to Banyu Wana waterfalls. Located in the pristine dense jungle great for swimming and natural showers. We will have the most relaxing time here, exploring and enjoying the epic high natural waterfalls. Then we head up to Tamblingan Entrance Office. Through the trek our professional host will explain some rare traditional herbal medicine, hundred years old of Ficus tree and tropical birds.
Tamblingan jungle is home of endangered species (such as porcupine, antelope, Bali eagle, black-naped oriole, pangolins) and it’s protected under the Indonesia Ministry of Forestry. The area is surrounded by ancient historical Hindunese temples and to this day many Balinese locals still visit to pray and do ceremonies. As we finish the trekking the traditional dugout canoe waiting (optional) and we will canoe while enjoying the pristine epic mountain and hills views from Tamblingan lake.
We will have lunch at a traditional house village at our basecamp. You will experience a nice rural life before we drive back to your hotel.
